As a 6 year old, I remember my grandmother gifting me the tiniest gold ring with a turquoise gem that I would never take off until I outgrew it. Wearing that ring made me feel so empowered and special at such a young age that until this day, everytime I look at the ring it brings me back to the best memories, and reaffirms that the moment I received that ring my passion for expressing myself with jewelry started.
